Electra Wave Soldering Machine

Electra’s proven performance has provided the electronics assembly industry with world-class soldering results. The Electra system is designed with computerized, closed loop controls that deliver the required accuracy and repeatability for demanding production environments.

The software and controls of the Electra were designed to be user-friendly. The Windows® operating system is multi-functional and easy to use.  The 3D GUI provides the user a real-time view of the complete machine modules, operation, and product being soldered.

Auto Exit Wing provides automated adjustment of the laminar wave flow to match the board velocity. To fully optimize the flow dynamics of the laminar wave, the velocity of the PCB needs to equal the flow of the solder over the weir of the exit wing. When the wave flow is fully optimized, the PCB ‘peels’ away from the solder which minimizes the opportunity for bridging defects to occur.

Electrovert’s Heavy Duty Conveyor can handle loads up to 91 kg (200 lb) for maximum throughput with all the advantages of a single continuous conveyor.

Electrovert’s wave soldering machines have a single rear door that allows complete access to all modules from the rear of machine.  The Electra has an integrated pull-out step across entire front of machine.

The DwellFlex 4.0 is the first solder nozzle designed specifically with Industry 4.0 automation in mind.  The DwellFlex 4.0 provides the highest level of soldering capability for thermally challenging and difficult solder applications.  The single wave design at maximum opening delivers the most thermal energy and longest dwell time in the industry.

The ServoSonic is a reciprocating ultrasonic atomizing spray fluxing system.  It consists of an ultrasonic atomized spray nozzle and air impact nozzle with an automatic self-cleaning function.

The patented UltraFill 4.0 solder nozzle is an ideal solution for lead-free soldering.  The UltraFill 4.0 nozzle is 40% wider than traditional tin-lead nozzle to increase contact time.

Multiple forms of preheat are offered for complete process flexibility; these include IsoThermal™ forced convection, fast response IR, and Infrared radiant.

The ServoJet fluxing system provides the ultimate in precision deposition and hole penetration (OA version available for aggressive flux applications) while ServoSonic™ and ServoSpray™ fluxing systems are available for ultrasonic and value-based solutions.

The Electrovert® Electra™ wave soldering machine is an advanced, meticulously engineered wave soldering system designed for high-mass and high-volume manufacturers. Although intended for maximum throughput requirements, the Electra also offers maximum process flexibility and delivers world-class soldering results. Capable of 610 mm (24 in) process width with Short and Full N2 tunnel features and up to 2.4 meters (8 feet) of bottom side preheat and up to 1.8 meters (6 feet) of topside preheat.
